20 Healthy Freezer Meals to Save Time & Energy
Healthy freezer meals are the essence of cook once, eat multiple times. Make ahead during a meal prep day or just double your batch and freeze half so that you have meals ready to eat when time is tight.
Whether you’re cooking for your whole family or just for yourself, there’s a lot to love about a freezer meal. I’m not talking about meals from the frozen section of the grocery store. I’m talking about cooking up something that freezes well and saves the day when life gets hectic. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve let out a big sigh of relief when I open up my freezer and have a meal basically ready-to-go.
Meals like soups and chilis are some of the best to freeze, but those are obvious, and I like to have lots of different options. Below, I’ve rounded up some recipes for all meal occasions with the help of some of my fellow registered dietitians. If you’re looking for more soups or chilis, you can find those in this freezer meal post or in the soup section of my recipes!
